On a midday regional train, the person next to me began flossing their teeth with a packet of floss. Not only did food particles fly from their mouth, but they also used their pinky finger to clean their ears and wiped the earwax on their pants. It was an utterly stomach-turning sight.

In a busy mall food court during Christmas, I saw a woman changing her baby’s diaper on a table. Despite informing the custodial staff, no action was taken. It was a shocking display of inconsideration.
