12 years after Steve Irwin’s passing, wife Terri shared dark truth husband once confessed to her

It’s hard to believe it’s been 16 years since the world lost Steve Irwin.

The renowned zookeeper revolutionized how people viewed dangerous animals, leaving an indelible mark on his field. His untimely passing at the age of 44, while pursuing his passion, was a loss felt deeply by many.

Now, over a decade later, his wife Terri Irwin has revealed a surprising confession Steve once shared with her.

In a recent interview on the Australian television series “Anh’s Brush With Fame,” Terri delved into a conversation that took an unexpected turn.

Reflecting on Steve’s premature death, Terri disclosed, “He never envisioned a long life for himself. He always had this intuition that his time would be cut short.”

Tragically, Steve’s premonition proved accurate. While filming “Ocean’s Deadliest” in Queensland, Australia, he was fatally injured by a stingray’s barb.

Recalling the moment she learned of her husband’s passing, Terri spoke of an overwhelming mix of grief and responsibility. She had to muster the strength to break the news to their children, Bindi and Robert, which she describes as an immensely challenging ordeal.

Following Steve’s death, Terri was taken aback by the immense outpouring of love and support from around the world. Steve, humble and unassuming, would have been surprised by the magnitude of the response.
