At just five years old, Ryder Wells from North Carolina has already faced more trauma than many experience in a lifetime.
In 2015, while visiting family for Thanksgiving, Ryder suffered a brutal attack by two rottweilers that changed his life forever.
A Near-Fatal Encounter
Ryder was only 21 months old when the 100-pound dogs launched their savage attack. He suffered devastating injuries, losing half of his face, enduring crushed teeth, a broken arm, and a punctured lung.
Doctors were unsure if he would survive. Against all odds, this brave little boy pulled through, undergoing around 50 reconstructive surgeries since the incident.
“Ryder’s survival is nothing short of a miracle,” his mother, Brittany Wells, explained.
