After thirty years apart, four longtime friends reunited at a party, reminiscing over drinks and laughter. As the evening went on, the topic turned to their children’s successes.
The first man smiled proudly. “My son’s done great—he worked his way up and is now the president of his company. Just last week, he gave his best friend a brand-new luxury car.”
The second added, “That’s impressive, but my son’s a senior executive at an airline. He surprised his best friend with a private jet for his birthday.”
The third chuckled. “Not bad! My son is a top engineer and recently built a 30,000-square-foot custom home for his best friend. Fully furnished!”
Just then, the fourth friend returned from the restroom. The others asked eagerly, “And what about your son?”
He replied with a grin, “Well, my son is an entertainer and performs at events. He recently had a gig at a party.”
The others looked on, waiting for more.
He shrugged. “Let’s just say he’s very well-liked—three of his friends gifted him a mansion, a private jet, and a luxury car for his birthday.”
