A recent image from inside the White House has drawn attention for an unexpected detail: a framed copy of former President Donald Trump’s widely recognized mug shot displayed near portraits of several of America’s most historic leaders.
During a February 13, 2025, meeting between President Trump and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a photo captured by a staff photographer or press pool revealed a framed New York Post cover featuring Trump’s 2023 booking photo. The image, placed outside the Oval Office, appears alongside traditional presidential portraits, including those of George Washington and Franklin D. Roosevelt.
