Though Barron has kept a low profile, he was seen more often last year during his father’s campaign events, including the 2024 presidential campaign kickoff and Inauguration Day. Aside from those appearances, Barron and his mother, Melania Trump, have maintained a quiet, private life in New York City.
According to sources, Melania has prioritized Barron’s safety and well-being, ensuring that he remains protected from public scrutiny. While he commutes to NYU with the assistance of the Secret Service, Barron does not live in a dorm like many of his peers. Instead, he continues to reside at home under his mother’s watchful eye.
“Living in a dorm in a college town isn’t in the stars for him at this point,” a source told People in December. “Melania feels it’s best to keep him close.” Another source added that Melania wants to be around her son as much as possible, believing that stability is important during this phase of his life.
