A recently released photo from the White House has once again stirred public interest, particularly among social media users closely following Trump’s recovery from the attempted assassination in 2024.
The 2024 Assassination Attempt
The July 2024 incident in Butler, Pennsylvania, marked one of the most serious threats to Trump’s life in recent history. At the time, he was campaigning for re-election against Vice President Kamala Harris. During the rally, a 20-year-old suspect opened fire from a rooftop approximately 400 feet away, using a high-powered rifle. The former president was struck in the upper right ear. Thanks to quick action from the Secret Service, the situation was contained within moments.
The FBI later confirmed the identity of the suspect and released findings that indicated the shooter had been planning the attack for months. Tragically, one attendee, Corey Comperatore, lost his life, and two others were critically injured. Trump’s injury, while serious, was not life-threatening, and he has since made a strong recovery.
