Elon Musk mocks Donald Trump for ‘Epstein hoax’ comment

Former President Donald Trump is facing significant criticism from some of his supporters following recent statements regarding the Jeffrey Epstein investigation files. During his earlier campaign, Trump had promised to release information related to Epstein if elected. However, he has since referred to the subject as a “hoax,” causing frustration among many who once supported him.

In a post on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump dismissed renewed interest in the unreleased documents as “a scam” and criticized those who continue to push for answers. “Let these weaklings continue forward and do the Democrats’ work,” he wrote. “I don’t want their support anymore.”

He went on to claim that the Epstein files were “made up” by figures including former Presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden, as well as former FBI Director James Comey. The remarks sparked an immediate reaction from supporters and political observers alike.

Many long-time followers expressed disappointment online, referencing Trump’s earlier promises to address the Epstein investigation transparently. Some users voiced their concern about the lack of accountability, with one writing, “You’re losing your most loyal followers, Mr. President.”
