3 Missing Girls Found Alive 10 Days After Texas Flood: A Story of Courage and Survival
In an incredible discovery that has touched hearts across the country, three young girls who went missing during the recent Texas flood have been found alive—ten days after they were last seen. The girls, aged 8 to 10, were located Sunday afternoon inside the hollow trunk of a large oak tree, nearly a mile from the remains of Camp Wrenwood, where the flood first hit.
A volunteer hiker who happened to be passing through the area heard a faint voice and paused, expecting to see a small animal. Instead, she heard a quiet plea: “We’re here… please don’t leave.” Emergency crews quickly arrived and carefully opened the hollow tree to find Emily Rivera, Zoey Nash, and Hope Lin wrapped in damp towels, supporting each other in a makeshift shelter they had created themselves.
