Kamala Harris doesn’t hold back — and her latest book tour proves it. In her new memoir, 107 Days, the former Vice President and 2024 Democratic nominee takes readers inside the whirlwind between her nomination and Election Day — a period she calls “the most painful of my public life.” The title reflects the sprint through chaos, scrutiny, and the ultimate loss to Donald Trump.
Harris’s recent stop in Los Angeles sent social media into a frenzy. Speaking at the “Day of Unreasonable Conversation” summit on October 6, she didn’t shy away from blunt truths about politics, power, and the people who wield it.
“We are living history right now,” Harris told the crowd. “You — the storytellers, the journalists, the artists — are living it too. You’re shaping how this moment will be remembered.”
Then, in classic Kamala fashion, she cut sharper:
“Because let’s be honest,” she said, gesturing to the audience, “there’s so much about this time that makes people feel like they’ve lost their minds. When in fact, these motherf***ers are crazy!”
The audience erupted in cheers, laughter, and applause. “I call this ‘The Freedom Tour,’” she added. “Freedom starts with truth. And sometimes the truth is messy.”
