Measuring about eight inches (20 centimeters) long — roughly the size of a banana — the worm’s anatomy is unlike almost anything else found in the ocean. This unique mechanism allows it to grab prey efficiently, making it a skilled hunter in the nutrient-poor Antarctic depths.
