Donald Trump’s recent MRI scan has sparked fresh questions about the former president’s health, with some wondering if he’s hiding something — while White House officials insist he’s in peak condition. On Wednesday, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt provided new details about Trump’s medical checkup and offered the latest update on his wellbeing.
The buzz began in October when the White House confirmed Trump had undergone an MRI as part of a routine health assessment. Dr. Sean Barbabella, Trump’s physician, released a memo highlighting the results: “Comprehensive laboratory studies performed in conjunction with the visit were exceptional, including stable metabolic, hematologic, and cardiac parameters.” He also noted that Trump received his annual flu shot and an updated COVID-19 booster.
“President Trump continues to demonstrate excellent overall health,” Barbabella wrote. “His cardiac age — a validated measure of cardiovascular vitality via ECG — was approximately 14 years younger than his chronological age.”
Trump himself confirmed the scan to reporters aboard Air Force One, saying: “We had an MRI… the whole thing, and it was perfect. Nobody has ever given you reports like I gave you. The doctors said some of the best reports for the age, some of the best reports they’ve ever seen.”
