Michael J. Fox’s Children Share a Difficult Family Update

Few figures in Hollywood represent strength, optimism, and quiet determination quite like Michael J. Fox. For more than 40 years, he’s inspired audiences—not only as the quick-witted star of Family Ties and Back to the Future, but as a real-life example of courage in the face of adversity. Yet beyond the spotlight and advocacy work, the role Fox values most has always been the same: husband and father.

Fox has been married to actress Tracy Pollan for over three decades, a rarity in an industry known for short-lived relationships. Together, they’ve built a grounded, loving family and raised four children—an achievement Fox speaks about with unmistakable pride. He’s often joked that keeping up with them feels like a full-time job, but it’s one he never wanted to miss.
