A Look at the Royals Named in the Epstein Files and Their Connections

The dust is slowly settling following the release of the latest, enormous batch of files related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

After years of speculation and sustained public pressure, the Department of Justice has finally delivered on its promise to release the documents into the public domain. The files — made public in accordance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act, passed last November — encompass more than 3.5 million emails, texts, photographs, videos, and other materials.

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche framed the release as the culmination of a lengthy review process. “Today’s release marks the end of a very comprehensive document identification and review process to ensure transparency to the American people and compliance,” he told reporters on January 30.

It is important to stress upfront: a name appearing in these files does not constitute proof of wrongdoing. Many individuals are mentioned in passing or appear because they were in contact with Epstein in a professional or social context.
