Frank Fritz and Diann Bankson were longtime partners whose breakup had a profound impact on Frank, leading to struggles with alcohol, unemployment, and health issues.
Their relationship, which began when they were 25 years old, was marked by intermittent dating over the years. After becoming engaged in 2017 and planning a future together, their romance took a turn for the worse in late 2018.
The breakup was triggered by Diann discovering Frank with another woman, a betrayal that deeply affected him. Frank later spoke about the pain of the betrayal, revealing that he had gotten a tattoo as a painful reminder of the experience.
