Keanu Reeves Makes Thrilling Auto Racing Debut at Indianapolis
Hollywood superstar Keanu Reeves took to the track for his professional auto racing debut this past Saturday at the legendary Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and it was a day full of adrenaline, skill, and a dramatic crash.
The 60-year-old actor, famously known for “The Matrix” and “John Wick”, was competing in the Toyota GR Cup, a spec-racing series that supports the weekend’s Indy 8 Hour sports car event. Reeves drove the No. 92 BRZRKR car, promoting his graphic novel, “The Book of Elsewhere”, alongside teammate Cody Jones from Dude Perfect.
A Challenging Race
Starting 31st out of 35, Reeves navigated the intense field with skill. He managed to climb as high as 21st, avoiding a chaotic first-lap crash at Turn 14. But just past the halfway mark, the Matrix star spun into the grass exiting Turn 9—fortunately, with no other cars involved.
Despite the setback, Reeves finished 25th, showing impressive composure in his professional racing debut.
