The Sleepy Patient
A woman walked into a doctor’s office looking completely exhausted.
“Doctor,” she said, “there are dogs in my neighborhood barking day and night. I can’t sleep at all!”
The doctor smiled confidently and handed her some sleep medication.
“These should help you rest peacefully,” he said. “Take them as directed.”
Weeks later, she returned looking even more tired.
“Doctor, this isn’t working!”
The doctor was puzzled. “Those are very strong sleep aids. What’s happening?”
She sighed. “They may work, but I’m still awake all night chasing the dogs. And when I finally catch one… it’s very difficult to get it to take the pill!”
The Baby Scale Mix-Up
A blonde walked into a store holding a baby.
“Can I use your baby scale?” she asked.
The clerk explained it was broken but suggested weighing the baby with the mother on a regular scale, then subtracting the mother’s weight.
“That won’t work,” she replied.
“Why not?” asked the clerk.
“Because I’m not the mother—I’m the aunt!”
The Headphones Incident
A woman was rollerblading with her headphones on when she stopped at a salon for a haircut.
She told the stylist she didn’t want the headphones removed.
The stylist agreed and began cutting.
