I’m Maria, 53 years old, married for 32 years with two daughters who no longer live with us. For 15 years, our marriage was mostly smooth, with typical family ups and downs. However, in 1995, due to financial struggles, we lost our home and had to move in with my parents, leaving our daughters behind.
Three years later, my husband went to France for work, and I followed, leaving our daughters with my parents.
