On what was supposed to be the happiest day of his life, Nathan stood at the altar, eagerly awaiting his fiancée, Jane, to join him in the beautiful white dress they had chosen together.
But as Jane entered wearing a somber black gown, his anticipation turned to horror, and he realized the ceremony was about to take a heart-wrenching turn.
“I met Jane through a friend, and from our first few dates, we became inseparable. She was lively and extroverted, thriving in the company of others, while I was a quiet introvert, uncomfortable in crowds. But with her, everything felt different. I felt seen, loved, and cherished in ways I’d never known.”
After a few blissful months together, Nathan proposed, overjoyed when she said yes without hesitation. They shared dreams, laughter, and plans for the future, their bond growing stronger each day.
Families were introduced, and the wedding date was set. But as Nathan stood at the altar, he was met with Jane’s angry gaze as she approached in her black dress.
“Why are you dressed like that?” he whispered, his heart racing. “What’s going on?”
Her expression was unreadable as she replied, “I’ll tell you after the ceremony.” Her silence only deepened his anxiety.
