Every Christmas Eve, Mark enjoyed walking through his neighborhood, admiring the festive lights and decorations. Yet, one house always stood out—dark and undecorated. The elderly woman who lived there rarely interacted with others, preferring solitude.
This year, Mark decided to surprise her. While she was out shopping, he decorated her front yard and door with garlands. When she returned, her eyes filled with tears of gratitude. “Did you do this?” she asked, smiling warmly.
