Georgia was at the beach with her grandkids when they pointed toward a nearby café and shouted, “Grandma, that looks like Mom and Dad!” Her heart skipped a beat. As she stood there trying to make sense of it, her phone buzzed with a notification. It was from Monica’s old bank account, the one Georgia had kept active to manage her daughter’s affairs. There was a charge at a local café. Puzzled, Georgia called the bank.

“Hi, I’m calling about a charge on my daughter’s account,” she said, her voice unsure.

The representative explained, “The charge was made using a virtual card linked to the account. Would you like me to deactivate it?”

Georgia, still in disbelief, quickly replied, “No, leave it active.”

After hanging up, she shared the strange events with her friend Ella. “Could it be a mistake?” Ella wondered.

“I’m not sure, but I need to find out,” Georgia replied.

Later that weekend, the boys begged to go to the beach, and Georgia agreed, bringing Ella along. As they walked along the shore, Georgia showed Ella the bank notification and the charge. But then, a familiar shout rang out from the boys.
