During the Commander-in-Chief Ball on Monday, an event marking the beginning of President Donald Trump’s second term, First Lady Melania Trump shared a memorable dance with Sergeant Henry Waller. The ball, a traditional celebration, brought together the president, vice president, and military members, symbolizing unity and patriotism.
President Trump danced with Sergeant Tatiana Saldana of the U.S. Space Force, while Vice President JD Vance and his wife, Usha, danced with military representatives. Melania Trump partnered with Sergeant Waller, and their waltz quickly became a social media highlight.
As the two danced, a brief moment captured the attention of viewers when Melania leaned in to speak to Waller. In an exclusive interview with Inside Edition, Sergeant Waller shared that the conversation was light and pleasant. “I asked her how her night was going, and she said it was going well. Then she asked how mine was, and I told her, ‘It was fantastic,’” he recalled. He also complimented Melania’s dancing skills, saying, “She’s a really good dancer.”
The ball not only marked this personal exchange but also set the tone for the beginning of President Trump’s second term. Melania’s presence at the event has also drawn attention to her role as First Lady in this new term.
