A Note from the Delivery Guy Made Me Install Security Cameras around My House, I will Forever Be Grateful to Him

Soon, there was a knock on the door, and Leona arrived to take my statement. She examined the items and said, “I’ll take these to the lab. We’ll have extra patrols around your home in the meantime.”

By morning, I’d hardly slept. I called a security company, and after some pleading, they sent a team to install cameras around my house that day.

As they worked, I saw Leona pull into the driveway again. Her expression was serious. “The lab results are back. The liquid in the bottle is a corrosive used to weaken locks. Someone likely planned to break in.”

My stomach dropped. “What about Ravi?” I asked. “Does he know anything?”

Leona advised caution, but just then, I spotted Ravi nearby. She encouraged me to go speak to him while she kept an eye out.

Ravi looked uneasy as he approached. “After I parked, I saw two men near your trash,” he admitted, glancing around. “They looked suspicious, and I wanted to warn you but was afraid they might still be close by.”

Relief flooded through me. “Your note—you have no idea how much it helped. You may have saved us.”

As Ravi left, Leona reassured me, “We’ll catch these people, Nora. Stay vigilant.”

That night, I watched the new security monitors, scanning the quiet streets. Despite the lingering fear, I felt a new sense of strength. With allies like Ravi and Leona, I knew I wasn’t facing this alone. Together, we’d handle whatever came next.
