She has described him as “so stupid” and “ill-informed,” labeling him “the Liar in Chief, the Groper in Chief.” In a recent interview with Stephen Colbert, she boldly stated, “I can’t live in this country if he becomes president again.”
This isn’t the first time Streisand has made such a dramatic declaration. After Trump’s victory in 2016, she humorously vowed to leave the United States, saying, “America was great – before you were elected.”

Streisand’s frustration with Trump inspired her to release her 36th album, Walls, in 2018. This powerful work serves as a commentary on what she sees as Trump’s tyranny and features impactful tracks like “Don’t Lie to Me.” Streisand explained that the constant stream of news and misinformation distressed her, prompting her to express her outrage through her music. She believes the country deserves honesty and stands firmly against deception.
