Bartender Initially Denies Beer for Soldier, Receives Unexpected Note on Receipt

A heartwarming story unfolded at a Buffalo Wild Wings in Washington state, where a woman’s gesture to honor her fallen soldier brother left a lasting impact. The woman, whose brother served in Iraq and lost his life while honorably serving, visited the restaurant to pay tribute.

Initially denied two beers due to state law restrictions, the bartender, Brian Ay, was moved by her story and decided to bend the rules, allowing her to have the second beer for her brother. Touched by her gratitude, the restaurant’s manager made a compassionate decision to cover the cost of the soldier’s beer.
