A young NFL player, recently drafted by the Minnesota Vikings, tragically passed away in a car accident early Saturday morning, just hours after sharing a heartfelt post on social media.
Police reports indicate that a speeding vehicle collided with the car carrying the 24-year-old player and two of his friends. Sadly, the player and the driver, who was a high school friend, were pronounced dead at the scene. A third passenger, also a former teammate, was transported to the hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.
The day before the accident, the player posted a series of photos on Instagram, offering a glimpse into his life, including moments from Vikings practice. The post, captioned “Mmmhmmm,” featured him enjoying time on a beach, interacting with animals, and showcasing his fashion sense in mirror selfies.
Among the images was a comparison between “dreamers” and “doers,” reflecting his determined and action-oriented spirit.
The player’s journey to the NFL was one of perseverance and hard work. He began at Fort Scott Community College after high school and went on to play for the Oregon Ducks and Alabama Crimson Tide.
