A Thanksgiving Full of Love for Bruce Willis and His Family

This Thanksgiving carried a deep emotional meaning for Bruce Willis’ family. The beloved actor, who is living with frontotemporal dementia (FTD), spent the holiday surrounded by those who love him most — his wife Emma Heming Willis, ex-wife Demi Moore, and their children.

Over the weekend, Bruce’s daughter Scout shared a touching video holding her father’s hand at the table. Another photo showed her gently pressing his palm against her face. “I’m grateful and thankful to know this kind of love,” Emma wrote in her own post, alongside a family throwback featuring Bruce, their daughters Mabel (11) and Evelyn (9), and his older children Rumer (35), Scout (32), and Tallulah (29).

United by Love and Strength

In 2022, the Willis family revealed that Bruce was stepping away from acting after being diagnosed with aphasia. The following year, they shared that his condition had developed into frontotemporal dementia. Since then, the family’s focus has been on Bruce’s comfort, happiness, and emotional wellbeing.

A close family friend told People magazine that the family is taking things one day at a time. “They make every day count,” the source said. “It’s all about love and togetherness.”
