Caramel Cream Cheese Bread – Moist, Sweet, and Irresistible

This Caramel Cream Cheese Bread is a soft, flavorful quick bread that combines a creamy base with swirls of rich caramel. Lightly spiced with cinnamon and enhanced with vanilla, it’s a perfect choice for breakfast, an afternoon treat, or even dessert. Since this recipe makes two loaves, it’s also wonderful for sharing with friends or family.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 ½ cups sugar
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, room temperature
  • 4 large eggs, room temperature
  • ½ cup caramel topping
  • 1 ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions

Step 1: Prep & Mix Wet Ingredients
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two 9×5-inch loaf pans with butter or non-stick spray. In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter, cream cheese, and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.

Step 2: Mix Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually add the dry mixture into the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Step 3: Assemble the Loaves
Divide one-fourth of the batter into each prepared pan. Spoon ¼ cup caramel topping over the batter in each loaf and gently swirl with a knife, keeping the caramel away from the edges. Add the remaining batter evenly over the top.

Step 4: Bake & Serve
Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let the loaves cool before slicing. Serve and enjoy!

This bread is wonderfully moist, beautifully swirled, and packed with flavor. Whether served warm with coffee or as a sweet after-dinner bite, it’s a recipe you’ll come back to again and again.
