Step 1: Prep & Preheat
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two 9×5-inch loaf pans with butter or non-stick spray, and lightly flour the pans for easy removal.
Step 2: Cream Butter, Cream Cheese, and Sugar
In a large mixing bowl, use a hand mixer or stand mixer to cream together the butter, cream cheese, and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
Step 3: Mix Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
Step 4: Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients
Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture. Stir until just combined—do not overmix, or the bread may become dense.
Step 5: Layer Batter and Caramel
- Pour ¼ of the batter into the bottom of each prepared loaf pan.
- Spoon ¼ cup of caramel topping on top of the batter in each pan and gently swirl with a knife for a marbled effect.
- Divide the remaining batter evenly between the pans, spreading it over the caramel swirls.
Step 6: Bake
Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of each loaf comes out clean. Rotate pans halfway through baking for even browning.

Let the loaves cool completely in the pans for about 15 minutes, then remove and place on a wire rack to cool fully. Slice and enjoy with a cup of coffee or tea.
