Creamsicle Orange Fluff Salad – Sweet, Tangy, and Creamy

Instructions

1. Bloom the Gelatin
In a large bowl, whisk the orange gelatin with 1 cup hot water until fully dissolved. Stir in 1/2 cup cold water.

2. Chill and Add Pudding
Refrigerate the gelatin mixture for 15–20 minutes until slightly set. Whisk in instant vanilla pudding until fully blended. Chill again for 15–20 minutes.

3. Fold in Remaining Ingredients
Gently fold in Cool Whip. Drain the mandarin oranges and crushed pineapple, then fold the fruit and mini marshmallows into the mixture until evenly combined.

4. Chill Before Serving
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow flavors to meld and the salad to set. Garnish with orange slices if desired. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Tips for Best Results

  • Chill between steps: Helps the salad set properly.
  • Fold gently: Keeps fruit segments intact and preserves the fluffiness.
  • Use fresh ingredients: The flavor is brighter and more vibrant.
  • Cold Cool Whip: Keeps the salad creamy and light.

Flavor Variations

  • Try different gelatin flavors like raspberry, lime, or peach.
  • Fold in berries such as strawberries or blueberries.
  • Add fruits like banana, kiwi, or grapes for extra variety.
  • Swap vanilla pudding with pistachio or cheesecake pudding.
  • Stir in a little orange or lemon yogurt for a tangy twist.

Storage

  • Refrigerate covered for 3–4 days.
  • For longer storage, add the mandarin oranges just before serving to prevent excess liquid.
