Ingredients:
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled, deveined, and cleaned
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ⅛ cup seasoned salt (like Lawry’s)
- Pepper to taste
- Oil for frying (vegetable or canola oil works well)
Instructions:
Step 1:
In a large Ziploc bag, combine the flour, seasoned salt, and pepper. Seal the bag and shake well to mix.
Step 2:
Add the cleaned shrimp to the bag. Seal again and shake until all the shrimp are evenly coated with the flour mixture.
Step 3:
In a deep-sided skillet, heat about 3 inches of oil over medium-high heat until hot (around 350°F/175°C).
Step 4:
Carefully add shrimp in batches. Fry for 3–5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
Step 5:
Remove the shrimp with a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Step 6:
Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce—cocktail, tartar, or spicy mayo all pair wonderfully!

Pro Tip:
For extra crunch, double-dip the shrimp by coating them in a little buttermilk or egg wash before tossing them in the flour again!
