He mentioned that his extensive facial tattoos have led him to worry about how others perceive him, especially when performing daily tasks like taking his young daughter to school. “The face is a big thing that can lead to many problems for yourself,” Ethan said. “I wouldn’t want my daughter to face these challenges until she’s older. I wish I hadn’t gone so extreme on my face.”
To address these regrets, Ethan has been undergoing painful laser tattoo removal treatments for the past year. “I’ve been getting laser [surgery] for almost 12 months now…
We do it in sections, and I’ve probably gone over the full area six or seven times,” he explained. He added that this decision was driven by anxiety and a desire for change. “I’m happy with how I look now, but I’m also looking forward to seeing my face become less tattooed over the next two years. I’m just clearing the canvas.”
