Delivery Driver Detained in Nancy Guthrie Case Released Without Charges

Carlos Palazuelos, 36, the delivery driver briefly held by police in connection with the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, has been released. The case, which has gripped the nation, is now entering its 11th day with investigators racing to uncover leads.

Palazuelos was picked up by law enforcement on February 10 while driving in Arizona. Authorities initially believed he might be linked to the disappearance of Savannah Guthrie’s mother, but after hours of questioning, he was released without charges.

“I’ve never heard of Nancy or Savannah,” Palazuelos told reporters outside his home. “I don’t watch the news. They held me against my will, and they didn’t read me my rights until two hours later.”

He expressed frustration over the detention, insisting his innocence: “What the f**k am I doing here? I didn’t do anything. I’m innocent.”
