Why You Keep Waking Up Between 3 and 5 AM—And What It Might Mean
If you’ve ever found yourself regularly waking up between 3 and 5 a.m.—wide awake, even though you’re still tired—you’re not alone. Understanding Your Sleep Cycle
Sleep happens in cycles, usually lasting about 90 minutes each. During the night, we shift through light sleep, deep sleep, and REM (dream) sleep. It’s normal to wake briefly at times, but if you’re consistently becoming fully awake around 3 to 5 a.m., something may be interrupting your body’s natural rhythm.
