White House Confirms Trump Diagnosed with Chronic Venous Insufficiency, Says Condition Is Manageable

After weeks of speculation and questions surrounding his health, the White House has confirmed that President Donald Trump has been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency—a condition in which weakened vein valves reduce efficient blood flow, causing fluid buildup in the legs.

In a statement to reporters, White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt described the diagnosis as a “benign and common” condition, particularly in older adults.
