Donald Trump diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency following leg swelling

Former President Donald Trump recently underwent a medical evaluation after noticeable swelling in his legs prompted questions during public appearances. Following a comprehensive examination, his physician confirmed that he has been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency—a condition common in older adults that affects circulation in the legs.

The announcement was made during a press briefing by White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, who read a note from the president’s physician, Dr. Sean Barbabella. The statement aimed to address public speculation and reaffirm the former president’s overall health status.
