Donald Trump Jr. Speaks Out After Split from Kimberly Guilfoyle
Donald Trump Jr. has addressed his breakup with Kimberly Guilfoyle, expressing admiration for their time together and her new role.
“Kimberly and I will always share a deep bond and mutual respect,” Trump, 46, told Page Six on Friday, December 13. “I am incredibly proud of her as she takes on her new role as U.S. ambassador to Greece—a position where she will undoubtedly make a significant impact.”
Praising her career, Trump called her an “undefeated prosecutor, national TV star, MAGA leader, and trusted advisor.” He emphasized that his father, President-elect Donald Trump, personally selected Guilfoyle, 55, for the prestigious role, which she will assume in January 2025.
A Private Split
Earlier this week, Us Weekly confirmed that Trump and Guilfoyle quietly ended their engagement, with sources revealing they began dividing assets in September.
“Don made the decision to end things,” an insider shared. “They remain on good terms, but had different priorities and life goals.”
The couple, who had been friends for years before dating in 2018, got engaged in 2022 during Tiffany Trump’s wedding.
Moving Forward
Since the split, Trump has been romantically linked to socialite Bettina Anderson.
“It’s a new relationship,” a source said. “He respects her deeply and is really taken with her.”
Meanwhile, Guilfoyle, who was previously married to Gavin Newsom and Eric Villency (with whom she shares a son, Ronan, 18), is focused on her new role.
Trump, who was married to Vanessa Trump from 2005 to 2018 and shares five children with her, has not publicly commented on his relationship with Anderson. However, the two were spotted holding hands in Palm Beach on December 10, sparking speculation.
