Elon Musk Responds
Business magnate Elon Musk also weighed in. In a widely shared post on X (formerly Twitter), Musk questioned Trump’s dismissal of the Epstein case, pointing out a major contradiction: “Wow, amazing that Epstein ‘killed himself’ and Ghislaine is in federal prison for a hoax,” he wrote, referencing the conviction of Ghislaine Maxwell, who was sentenced for her role in Epstein’s criminal activities.
Musk followed up with a pointed observation: “Not a single Epstein client has been prosecuted. Not even one.”
According to reports, Musk posted multiple times about the topic, often criticizing the lack of transparency and accountability surrounding the case. In one post, he noted, “So many powerful people want that list suppressed,” suggesting concern about broader institutional silence.
The discussion marked a further shift in Musk’s relationship with Trump. The two had previously maintained a more neutral, sometimes even supportive, public rapport. However, tensions reportedly began to rise earlier this year, when Musk suggested that Trump’s name might be among the documents yet to be released—a claim he later walked back and apologized for.
Ongoing Public Concern
The Epstein case continues to spark intense public interest, particularly surrounding the question of whether a list of individuals involved will ever be made public. Supporters of full transparency argue that accountability is crucial regardless of political affiliation.
As public figures continue to speak out, many are calling for a renewed commitment to investigating the full scope of Epstein’s network and for answers that have long been delayed.
