FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino Issues Stern Warning to LA Rioters Targeting ICE

A weekend ICE workplace raid in Los Angeles’ Fashion District quickly turned violent when protesters surrounded federal agents and began throwing rocks at their vehicles. The confrontation, captured on dozens of phones and shared widely online, erupted after agents searched a garment warehouse where a judge had found probable cause that undocumented workers were employed using forged documents.

FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino responded sharply on social media, sharing footage of the incident and targeting the masked protester who threw the first rock. “We’re using every investigative tool to track you down. Turn yourself in now—it’s only a matter of time,” he warned. Bongino made it clear that anyone identified in the video throwing rocks would face federal charges.

FBI Director Kash Patel echoed this firm stance, stating, “Hit a cop, you go to jail—period.” He promised federal agents would step in if local law enforcement hesitated, emphasizing that this was not a matter of civil disobedience but felony assault on officers.

The violent clash sparked wider unrest across the city. By nightfall, activists gathered outside a downtown federal building amid rumors that detainees were being held in the basement. Early Saturday, another ICE operation in nearby Paramount drew crowds chanting “Set them free!” Graffiti appeared on courthouse walls, and reports surfaced of at least two Molotov cocktails thrown at federal vehicles.
