Fetterman Stuns ‘The View’ After Revealing What He Thinks About The Trump Hush-money Trial

Senator John Fetterman (D-Pa.) sparked a lively discussion on ABC’s The View Monday when he shared his perspective on former President Donald Trump’s recent trial in New York City.

Fetterman, known for his casual style and recently visiting Trump at his Mar-a-Lago estate, appeared on the show wearing his trademark hoodie. During the interview, he addressed various topics, including Hunter Biden and Trump’s controversial pardons related to the January 6 Capitol riot.

The focus of the segment quickly shifted to Trump’s Manhattan trial, which concluded on January 10 with a ruling that did not impose penalties on Trump regarding alleged hush-money payments. Fetterman expressed his view that political considerations influenced the decision to prosecute the case.

“I’ve criticized Hunter Biden, and I also believe that the trial in New York was politically motivated,” Fetterman said. “It’s possible that if this were someone else, the case might not have been pursued.”
