During a layover in France on her return to Sweden, Thunberg responded to questions about Trump’s comments.
“Well, I think the world needs more young, passionate people—especially now,” she said. “If that’s considered ‘angry,’ then so be it.”
She also clarified her position on the legality of their entry: “We were brought into Israel after being intercepted in international waters. I stand by that.”
