Life often tests people in unexpected ways, and for Sean, a single father of three, the last few years were filled with challenges he never could have imagined. One afternoon, Sean took his children to a gas station, planning to buy the cheapest food he could afford. Inside, he noticed a man at the counter, clearly distressed. The man explained that his wife was in labor and they were rushing to the hospital—but in the chaos, they had forgotten their wallets. Their car was nearly out of gas, and they couldn’t make the trip without help.
