The morning of my wedding, I woke with butterflies in my chest. After years of planning, saving, and dreaming, the big day had finally arrived. Every skipped luxury and every extra shift had led to this moment—our dream wedding.
I arrived at the venue early, hoping for a quiet moment to walk the aisle, sip some champagne, and take in the joy of it all before the celebration began.
Instead, I found my sister Jessica standing at the altar—in a wedding gown.
She turned with a smile and said, “You’re early! I thought I’d be done before you got here. Surprise!”
I blinked. “What do you mean, surprise?”
“Two weddings in one!” she chirped, like it was the most natural idea in the world. “Ben’s been ready to tie the knot, so I figured, why not today?”
“You’re getting married… during my wedding?” I asked, stunned.
Jessica waved off my shock. “Come on, don’t be selfish. Be happy for me!”
