Calla’s Discovery
When Calla finds a lace robe hidden in her husband Jason’s closet, she assumes it’s a romantic gesture. But her assumptions crumble when she sees her stepmother, Lorraine, flaunting the very same robe, igniting a storm of suspicion and unease.
Following her father’s death, Calla, Jason, and their six-year-old daughter, Emma, move in to support Lorraine. Living with Lorraine, however, is a constant challenge, her manipulative nature and sharp comments making every day tense.
One day, while folding laundry, Calla discovers the robe tucked in Jason’s closet and imagines it’s meant for her. Yet, a chilling reality unfolds when Lorraine parades the robe, claiming it’s a gift from her new boyfriend. Confused and hurt, Calla confronts Jason, who vehemently denies any connection to the robe.
