New details have emerged following the shocking deaths of filmmaker Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele Reiner, who were found deceased in their Brentwood, Los Angeles home on Sunday.
According to law enforcement officials, the couple was pronounced dead at the scene after police responded to a call at approximately 3:40 p.m. that afternoon. Hours later, their son, Nick Reiner, 32, was taken into custody in South Los Angeles near the USC area and is being held on suspicion in connection with the deaths. Authorities emphasized that the investigation remains ongoing.
“Our hearts go out to the family and friends of the Reiners,” Los Angeles Police Chief Jim McDonnell said during a Monday press briefing, calling the case “a tragic incident” and urging the public to allow investigators time to determine the full sequence of events.
Argument at Holiday Party Raises Questions
