It is been a rough few years for Simon Cowell, but he is now confirmed what we all suspected about his son

Simon wore a wrist brace for months after the second accident but remained committed to being there for his nine-year-old son, Eric, making significant lifestyle changes along the way. His fiancée, Lauren Silverman, was a constant source of support throughout his recovery.

Reflecting on the impact of his injuries, Simon admitted in an interview with The Sun that the back injury left him in a dark place, where he even considered therapy to cope. His desire to stay active with Eric drove him to push through the challenges.

Simon and Lauren welcomed Eric on February 14, 2014, and his son’s presence motivated him to keep going. After seeing Simon with the metal rods in his back, Eric jokingly called him “Iron Man,” a nickname that Simon embraced with pride.

Despite these setbacks, Simon has kept his sense of humor. In a 2021 AGT episode, when asked by Terry Crews if he could perform stunts like the Shaolin Kung Fu act, Simon laughed, saying, “After my back injury, just walking around the garden with Eric felt like an achievement.”

Simon’s journey is a story of resilience, humor, and determination. Though the accidents were tough, he continues to find joy in cycling, family life, and his role as a father.
