Her engagement to James V. Reyes ended sadly in 2005 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer, but she triumphed over the illness and is now cancer-free.
A strong advocate for adoption, Ingraham has adopted three children: Maria from Guatemala and Dmitri and Nikolai from Russia. At 60, she continues to balance a flourishing career with her commitment to raising her family in Washington, D.C.
