She added further, “But what was out there, was not what was hard.” She went on to say, “Fact of it is what was hard. The actual breaking up of a family is what was hard. Losing a true partnership and friendship is what was hard.”
After the split, she revealed she sought community for herself, “I make a big, concerted effort to see my people as much as I can, because that’s what matters. That’s where your resilience is: it’s in your relationships and in the people who carry you through.”
She also spoke in the interview about her upcoming work which includes the AppleTV+ drama The Last Thing He Told Me.
She also spoke of her work other than acting which is working for Save the Children US and Once Upon a Farm and also her own children.
She spoke highly of her children, saying, “They’re just so cool. Parenting now has shifted. It’s more about parenting with a button on my mouth…. You have to let them grow up and make their choices. You don’t get to control it.”
She also shared how co-parenting with ex Ben Affleck was the ‘hardest thing’ for her.
She said, “Not hard in the grand scheme of what is hard in the world, but tricky for me and tricky for my family.”
We only wish Jennifer Garner and her family the very best. Share this with other fans of the actress who would like to know about this interview.
