JOKE OF THE DAY, The Little Boy and the Confession!

Suppressing a laugh, the priest asked gently, “Is there more?”

Tommy grinned sheepishly. “I put toothpaste on Grandpa’s dentures while he was asleep.”

This time, the priest had to cover a chuckle. “For your penance, say three Hail Marys and do your best to behave better,” he said.

Tommy left the booth proud and excited, running to his grandmother. “Piece of cake, Grandma! But I don’t think the priest knows half the stuff I’ve done!”

Another young boy had his sights set on a shiny new bicycle, but his family couldn’t afford it. His mother suggested he write a letter to Jesus, promising to be good. “Maybe He’ll help if you show Him you’re serious,” she said.

The boy tried writing, starting with a year of good behavior. One month felt too long, then one week still seemed impossible. Frustrated, he left the house to think. Passing the local church, he spotted the nativity scene, grabbed the figurine of Mary, and ran home. He wrote a new letter: “Dear Jesus, if you ever want to see your mother again…”

Finally, at a wedding, a young boy observed the vows with curiosity. Afterward, his cousin asked, “How many women do you think a man can marry?”

Without hesitation, he answered, “Sixteen.”

“Sixteen? How did you figure that out?” asked his cousin.

“Easy,” the boy said confidently. “The priest said four better, four worse, four richer, four poorer.”

These little stories show children’s innocence, humor, and creativity. Tommy’s confession highlights honesty mixed with mischief, the letter to Jesus shows determination in the most amusing way, and the wedding logic reminds us how children interpret the world around them. Their perspectives, while unique, teach adults to see life with curiosity, laughter, and a touch of wonder.
