Catherine stood in the supermarket parking lot one quiet evening, planning to surprise her husband, Dylan, with a coffee break. She tried calling him but got no answer, only a text saying he was still at work. Confused, she spotted his SUV nearby and decided to investigate.
Walking through the lot, she found his vehicle but not him. Troubling thoughts about his late hours and strange behavior swirled in her mind. Unsure of what to do, she returned to her car, waiting uneasily.
Moments later, an old car parked beside Dylan’s SUV, and to her surprise, he stepped out of it, wearing ragged clothes. She watched in disbelief as he changed into his work suit before getting into his SUV.
